BROTHER cartridges are easy to refill thanks to a toner plug on the side of the cartridge. Easy-seal tape is included in case the plug does not offer a good enough seal after being removed and put back in.
Our instructions will guide you step-by-step through the entire refill process.
Includes 85g of toner powder for 2600 pages at 5% page coverage. This is the same yield as the original BROTHER TN-450 high-yield cartridge.
If the cartridge you're going to refill is the original cartridge (the starter cartridge) that shipped with your printer, you will also need to purchase a flag gear kit. The ink smears all over when rubbed with hands, in addition there are globs of ink that remains on the very top of the page. I followed the directions exactly as specified by Ink Owl. I also bought the flag gear kit.I used a vacuum hose to vacuum out the old toner. I had no problems installing the flag gear or putting in the new toner, except that the toner poured slowly through the narrow nozzle. Next time I will cut the nozzle to make a lar ..."
